Biography:
Meet Christian, a highly accomplished geotechnical engineer with over 15 years of professional experience. He is an innovator, with 50 patents (16 patent families + some unpublished) and receiving the prestigious Subsea7 Inventor of the Year award on two occasions. With a comprehensive understanding of the field, Christian has successfully delivered support on over 60 oil and gas projects, as well as several renewable energy projects. He is also a respected member of the offshore industry, as a member of the ONS Technical Committee for 2024 and with his research being published and presented at conferences. He servers a member of the geotechnical community of experts at Subsea7.
Christian conceptualized Au2Rox™, an automated rock berm design software. Au2Rox™ is a prime example of disruptive innovation in the industry. Christian has the YouTube channel TheGeotechEngineer with more than 17,000 subscribers and one viral video (5,000,000 views). From 2012 to 2019, Christian worked as a part-time lecturer in geotechnical engineering at Stavanger University.
